done ch2.

"Excuse me girls we've arrived at yourdestination" i heard an angelic small voice in the back of my head. I was dreaming of i was throwing bottle after bottle of wine, tequila, vodka, and beer into a small pit of fire i had made in a forest. My parents were standing next to me, smiling. Happy I was finally done drinking. But the most suprising part was that my parents were holding hands, they would look at each other like they still loved each other. Instead of avoiding contact or standing atleast 3 feet away from each other like they do now. I could feel my shoulder move slowly on its own. I though I was having a muslce spazum until I heard the voice again, only louder, irritated. "Excuse me Miss, but the train will leave this point in 5 minutes with or with out you."
My eyes shot open "Oh God, I'm so sorry." I looked over at Rae, still fast asleep. I kicked her foot a few times before she woke up "Come on Rae, we gotta get off now."
"Why?" she stretched up out her arms.
"Like i said before, the train will leave this point in 5 minutes with or with out you" The tall blonde women with the voice of a mouse walked away.
"Shit" Rae stood up and began to grab her things. Right as we stepped off the train and made it to the safety behind the yellow line mark the train closed its doors and took off.
"Okay, so i'm never falling asleep on a train again." Rae said taking her ipod back out of her jacket pocket. She wore a Pink from Victoria Secret Brown hoodie and sweat pants set with her black Ugg boots, her mke up was normal: pounds of mascara and light foundation plus blush, and God knows whatelse she puts on. She nomal flowy curly hair was pulled into a loose ponytail at the nap of her neck. Rae was always the one for fashion, she new name brands from know offs and almost killed me when she found out I had bought a pair of knock off Ugg boots from the local Sears. I was wearing them now, with my Oregon state sweater and jean leggings. I had my normal make up on mascara, eyeliner, a small portion of foundation and a little blush. my barrel curls hair was pulled into a side pony tail by bobby pins.
"Hey, that guys holding a sign with our names" she snapped me back into reality. I'm a wierd thinker, I observe everything and cut it down to detail. Then i noticed there was a guy holding a sign with our names on it.
"Rae, stop" i followed her.
"Why, my mom said there'd be a man waiting for us." we approached the large asain man, he could easily take us down both.
"You Miss Santiago" he pointed at me; his heavy accent reminded me of when my mom was first learning to speak english, i giggles slightly as i answered.
"Yes, and this is Mis Vasquez." I nodded toward Rae. He smiled and said;
"We wait for one more, boy." We sat down on the bench behind him.
"Boy?" I asked Rae as she pulled out half a pill from the smallest pocket in her jeans. She shrugged and popped it in her mouth dry. She exhaled loudly and made a discusted face.
"This better help, i don't wanna waste them." I snickered as I watched her roll her neck.
"You're so depended on that stupid pill, watch the day it kills you." I crossed my arms and felt Rae's gaze on my face. I knew it hurt her hear my opinion on her drug use but i couldn't help it anymore. I needed to get better and I needed her to get better with me.
We sat in silence with Rae's gaze on her fidgeting hands and mine straight ahead, when I saw a tall boy with short brown hair spiked up, baby blue eyes, flawless skin walk toward us with a lopsided smirk plastered on his face. His gaze caught my eyes and held it.
"Mr. Vanholson?" the asain man asked him. He let go of my gaze and looked at him.
"Yeah?" he wore a tight fitting blue shirt and straight leg jeans. His vans looked new, and the blonde streak in his hair looked freshly dyed.
"Okay, we must go now to van." He grabbed my duffel bag and slug it over his shoulder and took Mr. Vanholsons' other duffel bag having all three of us drag our rolly suitcases.
"Well hello pretty ladies." He said as we got into the van. Rae was in her own little world looking-and touching the window, and I put my ear phones in and turned up my ipod.
Thirty minutes into the drive I felt Vanholsen turn around in his seat "So introduce yourselves" he smiled.
"I'm Rae and this is baby"
"Hm, baby will you-"
"No I won't be your baby, you can call me Zae."
"But I like baby" his eyes instantly switched from eagerness to sadness, he was a player. I knew it instantly, and by the looks of it a good one.
"Fine, but like I said I'm not your baby." His crocked smirk plastered itself across the bottom half of his gorgeous face and he turned back around to face the front of the car. Rae began to fall asleep shortly after, I pulled her head onto my lap like I'd done so many other times before. She curled up on the seat and fell asleep as the driver said "Twenty minutes more and we arrive at your new home." I leaned my head against the cold glass of the window and began to go over the past year and a half. A lot of alcohol bottles, sleepless nights, and nights I couldn't even remember replayed them selves in my head.
As we pulled up to the house Rae began to wake up, her pill wareing off by now.
"I knew it wouldn't work for very long" she paused as she sat up and looked at the house "Nice house" I looked out her window, the house was a two storie; big bay view windows, the house was an off white peachy color and had palm trees and tropical brush around it. A lot like the big rich party houses we'd go to back home in San Diego. We climbed out of the car and retrieved our luggage. We walked into the big foyer, it had a black marble floor and colorful wild flower paintings on the walls balancing out the white walls and black furniture. Rae sat down on a black chaise lounge chair, I followed her and sat down. "This is a really nice house" she commented again.
"Thanks" A dirty blonde girl walked around the corner and into the foyer. Her long dirty blonde hair reached down to her midback and fell in waves. "Please, sit. Scott, Susanna, Troy!" she shouted loudly. Rae flinched and shot her hands up to her ears. "Come down here!" She shouted again "Sorry, we haven't figured out a way to get a hold of eachother since none of you have your phones."
"Which is complete bull shit" a tall dark mixed boy walked into the room. He wore a white t-shirt, baggy jeans, and I recognize the Louis Vitton belt Rae's mom bought from the mens section and constintly wore.
"Scott," she paused "where's Troy and Susanna?" She asked him.
"Megan" he paused mocking her "Susanna is still all over Troy, but he's trying to get over here." She signed irratation hidden under it.
"Oh right, I'm Megan. I guess you can say I'm your head mistress here."
"Head what?" Rae asked.
"Principle" Megan replied after she though about it.
"Oh well that's just great, I get enough of him at school" Rae said leaning her head on my shoulder.
"Yeah well, I'm a lot nicer" she winked "And I was in your guys same positions just a few years ago, but for heronie and crack. This" she pointed to Scott "Is Scott, Scott do you want to tell them why you're here?" She placed her hand gently on his shoulder. He was a good four inches taller then her and he easily shrugged it off.
"Why, I don't even know them." he shoved his hands into his pockets.
"Okay, girls...and boy would you like to introduce yourselves?" Megan asked.
"I'm Javier and I'm a sex addict." Javier Vanholsen answered first.
"Well thank you for being so straight forward, Javier. Girls?" Megan looked at us expectingly.
"I'm Rae. Not Rachelle, Rae and this is baby" Rae answered for both of us.
"What's your real name baby?" A tall, what my mom would call Guerito Mexican, walked into the foyer. He had deep

Done ch1.

"Baby, come on! We need go pick up Rae!" My mom yelled from downstiars, her heavy spansh accent ringing in my ears.
Ever since I finshed packing last night I've sat on my window seat staring out over the front yard and sketched into my sketch book. I even fell asleep on my window seat, so I've been trying to earase a huge line I must've made when I fell asleep for the past 15 minutes.
"Fine" I muttered under my breath. I dragged my duffel bag and suit case down the stairs making as much noise as I could.
"Where's your...bolsa?" she grabbed my duffel bag from my hand at the bottom of the stairs and headed for the door.
"I left it in the kitchen" I stopped and let my suitcase fall with a harsh thud as I walked to the kitchen to retrieve my bag.
"What do I look like, a maid around here?" my dad asked in his always teasing tone. He bent and picked up my suit case, grunting as he struggled a bit to stand fully straight again.
"Watch your back dad. Any day now and you'll need back sugrey"
"Ha, I'm not as old as your abuelo yet." he guffed barely loud enough for me to hear "I don't need to go any doctor any time soon." he said louder. His spanish accent not as heavy.
"Okay, dad." I hugged him and took in his tabacco and cinnamon shampoo.
"Okay mija. I love you" he kissed the top of my head.
"Love you too dad" I looked at him one last time and walked out the front door. My mom was already sitting in her Honda CR-V, my suitcase and duffel bag in the trunk.
"Call Rae, I forgot my sunglasses" I waited for my mom to get out of the car before I dailed Rae's number and waited for her answer.
"Hey Baby...I still hate you but what time are you coming? Cause I popped a pill...this morning."
"Rae! We're going to this group home-"
"Rehab"'
"Whatever, to get fixed remember?" i whined.
"Yeah well, if Jon hadn't called your house asking for you and accidently te lling your parents you were suppose to be at his party, and your mom ending up calling you-"'
"Yeah, hearing me drunk and you completely nuts. She wouldn't have come looking for us at your house then we wouldn't be in this mess. You've told me this atleast 6 times."
"By mijo!" my mom called to my dad as she ran out to the car.
"Rae, we're coming over already."
"Whatever, let's just fake this and come home to our normal lives."
"I'm with you on that. See you in a bit"
"Kay" she hung up. My mom turned on the car but kept it in park.
"Baby" she outstretched her hand toward me, open and palm up.
"What?" I looked at her hand then locked my gaze with hers. After a moment she let her gaze fall on my phone. She wore no makeup, making her eyes look more stern; and she had her short curls pulled into a tight ponytail.
"Oh God mom, come on!"
"No baby, you know your not allowed to have your phone anyway."
"Ugh!" I groaned loudly in distress and pain. I locked my phone and handed it to her. "It's automatically locked when you turn it on, so don't even bother." I paused and took a deep breath as my mom to the car into drive "I really don't like you right now."
"Yeah, well the feelings pretty mutual." Her deep small brown eyes held my gaze.
"Then why don't you just send me to live in that stupid house, you're already sending me there for four months."
"We'll see how you are after these four months then i'll think about it, happy?"
"Exstatic." The rest of the ride to Rae's house was complete silence, the radio was so low it wouldn't even be considered elevtor music.
When we pulled into Rae's drive way Rae and her mom were hugging. Dolorus, Rae's mom, was crying, hugging and talking into Rae's ear quietly.
"Oh Dolorus" My mom climbed out of the car and walked over to her. Rae took the chance and walked to the car putting her double-the-size-of-mine suitcase in the back seat.
"Hey, Rachelle" my mom said as we pulled out of the drive way.
"Hey tia" The car ride to the train station was even quieter then the ride to Rae's house.

"Okay girls." My mom finally broke the silence as we stood in front of the open train doors. I watched people enter the train. Some happy, some sad. "Azaileah, please please, be careful." I knew by the way my mom pronouced my full name she ment she not only wanted me to get better but needed me to.
"Okay mom. I'll talk to you soon." I hugged her.
"Si mija, te hablo" she hugged Rae after she let go of me. I watched as my mom walked back to the car. Then Rae pulled out a cigarette box, i put my hand over hers.
"What?" she looked at me.
"Can't you wait until we get there?"
"Great, first our moms now your trying to get me to quit. Thats just fantastic." She walked onto the train and found our seats, as i followed her quietly thinking of how much i must have hurt my parents over the year.

* Bolsa bag, purse. te hablo I'll call you.
